Amsi Achievements

Achievements

Amsi’s music video for “Jeete Raho” won “Best Music Video” at the The Golden Leaf Film Festival in January 2022. The music video for single “Don’t Let Me Go” was officially selected in several film festivals including the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, Ramsgate International Film Festival and Golden Door Film Festival. “Don’t Let Me Go,” also won “Best Music Video,” at the Imagine This Girl Power Film + Media Summit & Showcase.

Amsi’s music is powerful and deeply immersive. For the past 3 years Amsi has hosted The Pink Party Benefit concert. The singer-songwriter organized this event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, and International Day of Girl to raise awareness about the importance of women's health and women empowerment. All revenue from ticket sales where donated to Planned Parenthood NYC.

This isn’t Amsi’s first time partnering up with Planned Parenthood and advocating for women’s rights. Back in 2017, the New York powerhouse vocalist and songwriter performed in Washington Square Park for a Planned Parenthood rally where she recalls, “It was the first time I ever cried during a performance, and it was because I knew I could somehow make a difference with my music.” She was also given the opportunity to sing at the inaugural Women's March in New York City which had over 400,000 people in attendance. “Now more than ever, women require a voice for change,” Amsi writes, “and to be able to contribute, even just a little, to the cause means the world to me.” Watching remarkable artists like LIZZO, Bebe Rexha, Raja Kumari and Halsey take the stage has inspired the singer-songwriter to be more vocal about women’s issues and become an advocate for all women.
